Job summary

Bon Secours is hiring an MRI Technologist for Richmond Community Hospital. The role conducts MRI exams under radiologist direction and participates in training new staff and students.

Requires ARRT MRI registry and at least 1 year of hospital MRI experience. The technician will handle patient prep, safety checks, contrast administration, and image quality assurance while collaborating with physicians and other modalities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI department experience in hospital setting (preferred).
• Associate’s degree from ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
• ARRT MRI registry or equivalent required; ARMRIT acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MRI system, coils, gating devices and related equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Position patients and adjust parameters per protocol and radiologist requests.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort; monitor equipment and patient condition during scans.
