Job summary

Bon Secours Short Pump Emergency Center seeks an MRI Technologist to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging in accordance with established protocols. The role includes assisting in the training and onboarding of new staff and supervising MRI students, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The position requires ARRT MRI certification and state licensure where applicable, with additional BLS requirements at hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's ARRT-accredited education preferred.
• MRI Registry (ARRT) or ARMRIT required/acceptable per location.
• State licensure preferred where the job is performed.
• BLS Basic Life Support required at hire for some Bon Secours locations.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily modality operations following MRI protocols under Radiologist direction.
• Assists in training and onboarding of new employees and MRI students.
• Maintains patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout MRI procedures.
• Operates MRI equipment, selects pulse sequences, and ensures image quality per protocol.
• Participates in quality control and coordination with other modalities and departments.

Education

Associate's from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred)
