Advocate Health in Grafton, ND is seeking a part-time MRI technologist to operate MR equipment for basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures, including musculoskeletal, neurological and body imaging.

You will credential patients, administer contrast under the Radiologist, ensure safety, post-process images, and document billing codes while maintaining records per regulatory standards. Flexible schedule: one weekday morning, every other week and Sundays; 8:00am-2030 pm; 20 hours per week.

Competenze

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and magnetic safety.
• Competent in IV and venipuncture (if required by facility).
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to work independently and use computers.
• Annual educational requirements for certifications as applicable.

Mansioni

• Operate MR equipment for basic/intermediate diagnostic procedures (musculoskeletal, neurological, body imaging).
• Obtain medical history and administer contrast under Radiologist guidance.
• Position patients and adjust scanning factors to obtain quality images while ensuring safety.
• Post-process images and correctly label them with patient information and location.
• Maintain records and document billing codes per regulatory standards.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA tests; report malfunctions.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate care and adhere to department policies.
