Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• MRI ARRT registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before performing the exam.
• Identify patient with two identifiers and explain the procedure.
• Review EMR for pertinent history and document findings.
• Operate MRI scanner and related equipment through the exam.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol.
• Maintain image quality and consult radiologist as needed.
• Follow radiation safety and assist in emergencies.
