Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures in the CNSA radiology department. You will operate MRI scanners, ensure safety, verify orders with radiologists, and assist in patient care while maintaining high imaging quality.

The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun, 8a-4p) and includes a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligibility is required; registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and associated equipment per protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist; clarify discrepancies before exams.
• Identify patients and provide explanations; prepare patients for procedures.
