Job summary

Advocate Health in Locust, North Carolina is seeking an MRI Technologist I for PRN, part-time shifts. The role involves operating MRI scanners and related equipment, following departmental protocols and ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.

The position requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT enrollment, CPR certification, and the ability to work Tuesday and the 2nd, 4th & 5th Saturdays from 9am to 5pm, with 16 hours per week as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT enrollment required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders for assigned patients.
• Refer discrepancies to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patient using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Prepare patients with full explanations and document in worksheets.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist Physicians/PA during procedures.
