Job summary

Akumin in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist (Part-Time) to perform high-quality MR studies on site and ensure patient safety throughout imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include prepping patients, adjusting MR sequences, collaborating with radiologists, and training new technologists as needed. ARRT MR registration and state licensure are required; BLS/ACLS may be needed depending on contract.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MR radiologic technologist registration (ARRT/NMTCB/ARMD) required.
• May require ARRT MR registration if billing Medicare.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MR studies on-site with focus on patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, staff, and patients.
• Train/orient new technologists or assistants on site.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
