Job summary

Akumin in Oakland Park, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time role. You will perform high-quality MRI scans with a focus on patient comfort and safety, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging.

You will verify patient information, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to daily workflow. ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registry and CPR are required, with a state license as applicable. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registry or eligibility.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PC's
