Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for our Oakland Park, FL facility. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging with a patient-centered approach.

The MRI technologist will ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and maintain a caring, detail-oriented environment. ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS certification and CPR are required, along with a valid state license and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• Registered technologist by ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic images.
• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contraindications.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PC's.
