Job summary

The role requires ARRT/MR or ARMRIT certification, state licensure where applicable, CPR, and the ability to work across multiple locations. Training for new staff and patient coordination are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• ARRT (R)/(MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT.
• State license, if applicable.
• CPR Certification.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.
• 3 months MRI clinical scanning experience OR enrolled ≥6 months in accredited MRI training program.
• MR registered technologist RT(MR) or ARMRIT: No experience required
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Patient Safety including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic technique.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Operate multiple MR systems where required.
• Communicate with radiologists, patients and customers effectively.
• Train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants on site or remote.
• Other duties as assigned.
