Northwestern Medicine is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide imaging services primarily at the Feinberg Pavilion, supporting inpatient care in a fast-paced setting. This full-time night-shift role entails two 12-hour shifts weekly (11:00 a.m.–11:30 p.m.) and two 4-hour shifts (2:30 p.m.–11:30 p.m.), with every third weekend required.

Responsibilities include patient safety, high-quality MRI imaging, contrast administration per policy, and precise documentation in EPIC/Visage.

Formación

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Program Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) OR American Registry of MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) certification within 12 months of hire or 10+ years directly relevant experience in lieu of certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsabilidades

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Apply professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when diagnostic adequacy is not met.
• Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening for contraindications and patient monitoring (as applicable).
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in medical record and image archive system, including exam set-up, image routing, result availability and charging accuracy.
• Adheres to organizational values, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program
