Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to provide imaging services in the Feinberg Pavilion and support inpatient care. This full-time night-shift position includes two 12-hour shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and two 4-hour shifts from 2:30 p.m.

to 11:30 p.m., with every third weekend from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. involved. The role focuses on producing diagnostic MRI images, administering contrast per policy, and maintaining patient safety and accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification within 12 months of hire or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety throughout imaging, including screening and monitoring.
• Produce diagnostic-quality MRI images using approved protocols.
• Administer contrast per policy with patient monitoring and adverse-event response.
• Coordinate exam flow and ensure timely documentation in EPIC/Visage.
