Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, work with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality imaging, and maintain ARRT MR/ARRT credentials.

The ideal candidate has ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, BLS, IV competency within 30 days, and a track record in fast-paced clinical environments. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 with relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR/ARRT cross-trained in MRI; BLS for healthcare providers; IV competency within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency in at least five cases per specialty procedure with documented pass-off.
• Preferred: 1-2 years MRI technologist experience; bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ARRT or MR/ARMRIT competency in all MRI functions.
• Verifies patient identity and prepares patients for exams.
• Performs MRI exams with quality image review.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time frames without compromising care.
• Instructs and assists students and other MRI staff.
