Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to join Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia. The role supports diagnostic imaging by performing MRI examinations under a Radiologist's guidance and providing safe, compassionate patient care across all age groups.

The position requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, plus BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
