Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the Radiologist's supervision. The role involves ensuring patient safety, preparing patients of all ages, and operating MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images. No experience required; 6 months of MRI experience preferred.

ARDMS or ARRT certification and BLS are required upon hire. This on-site position offers opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
