Responsibilities

• Performs MR imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and patient care.
• Prepares patient for exam, including screening and positioning.
• Ensures safety in the scan room and manages patient safety.
• Provides patient and family education prior to the procedure.
• Collaborates with radiologists to optimize protocol and image quality.
• Maintains inventory of MR supplies and cleans equipment as required.
• Supports departmental goals and policy development as needed.
• Cross-trains when required and stays current with MR physics and techniques.
