Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes under Radiologist direction. You will ensure patient safety, update EMR records, and administer contrast when required.

The position requires ARRT certification, Montana licensure eligibility, and a current BLS certificate. It is a full-time role with rotating shifts at St James Hospital in Montana, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school, or minimum related experience.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure eligibility within 60 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
• Ability to effectively present information to others.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images under Radiologist guidance.
• Input physician orders and update patient EMR records accurately.
• Explain imaging procedures and radiation safety to patients.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patient and staff.
