Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist specializing in MRI to support diagnostic imaging services at St James Hospital in Butte, Montana.

You will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, manage records, and collaborate with radiologists to provide high-quality care. The role requires ARRT(R) certification, Montana licensure or eligibility, and BLS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma required; ARRT certification and BLS within specified period.
• Montana license required or eligibility to obtain prior to start of employment.
• Experience with patient care, radiology safety, and regulatory guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Access and update patient records in hospital EMR systems.
• Input physician orders into patient records accurately.
• Explain imaging procedures and radiation safety to patients.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment per radiologist instructions.
• Administer contrast media as directed and monitor patients during procedures.
• Maintain radiation protection and infection control standards.
