Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform routine MRI procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and produce high-quality images for radiologist review. You will operate MRI equipment, manage supplies, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support diagnostic imaging.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program and 0–2 years of clinical MRI experience, with a strong focus on safety and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Reviews patient histories for safety and contraindications.
• Operates MRI and processing equipment per safety guidelines.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams.
• Maintains MRI safety zones and readiness before scans.
• Documents clinical history and exam findings for radiologist.
• Maintains inventory and sterility of MRI supplies.
