Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Registered MRI technologist or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Reviews MRI patient questionnaires and histories for contraindications and safety.
• Operates MRI and processing equipment adhering to safety guidelines.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Maintains MRI safety standards and verifies readiness before scans.
• Documents clinical history and correlates with exam findings for radiologists.
• Maintains inventory and sterility of MRI supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure optimal imaging results.
