Job summary

Community Health Systems in Milton, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform routine MRI procedures and support diagnostic services. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain quality images for radiologist review.

The role requires graduating from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program and 0-2 years of clinical MRI experience. ARRT/ARMRIT eligibility and BCLS certification are expected.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
  • 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist.
  • ARRT or ARMRIT certification or eligible and obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required

Responsibilities

  • Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Reviews patient questionnaires and histories to identify contraindications and ensure safety during scans.
  • Operates MRI and processing equipment, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams, addressing questions and promoting comfort.
  • Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging results and patient outcomes.
