Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0-2 years of clinical MRI experience as a registered technologist.
• ARRT or ARMRIT eligibility and obtainment within 12 months of hire.
• BCLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Review patient questionnaires and histories for contraindications to ensure safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and processing software following safety guidelines.
• Educate and prepare patients for MRI exams to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Maintain MRI safety zones and verify readiness before scans.
• Document clinical history with exam findings for radiologist review.
• Manage MRI supplies and maintain equipment functionality; report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal imaging and outcomes.
• Provide post-exam instructions to patients and ensure satisfaction.
