Advocate Health is seeking an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners and related equipment while following department protocols. You will verify orders, prepare patients, document procedures, and assist physicians during exams.

CPR-certified candidates with ARRT radiologic training are encouraged to apply. The role emphasizes patient safety, proper contrast administration, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines in a busy MRI department at Advocate Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment following departmental protocols.
• Verify orders and coordinate with Radiologist for any discrepancies.
• Prepare patients and obtain medical history; document procedures.
• Administer IV contrast as directed and monitor patient safety.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety standards throughout procedures.
