Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans and support radiologists in a fast-paced environment. You will verify orders, prepare patients, and document procedures while ensuring safety and accuracy across all steps.

The role requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT pursuit, BLS certification, and strong knowledge of MRI safety. Hours include Fri-Sun 7pm–7am with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI registry eligibility required or ARMRIT program considered
• BLS certification required
• Knowledge of MRI safety principles

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders; verifies with Radiologist before exam
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures
• Review EMR for medical history and correlate results
• Perform MRI scanning and assist physicians during procedures
• Maintain radiology computer system entries and charge procedures
