Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners and support patient care. You will verify orders, discuss procedures with patients, prepare them, and review medical history and EMRs to ensure accurate imaging.

Responsibilities include administering IV contrast per protocol, maintaining safety, and collaborating with radiologists during exams. Requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligibility or ARMRIT program required.
• CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and ensure protocol compliance.
• Verify orders, contact Radiologist to resolve discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures with care.
• Prepare patients, document histories, and review EMRs.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and monitor safety.
