Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an MRI Technologist I at the Pineville campus to perform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards. Operates MRI equipment, prepares patients, and assists Radiologists as needed.

The ideal candidate has ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT credentials, CPR certification, and a commitment to patient care and safety. This is a full-time position with a 7am-4:30pm Tue-Fri schedule and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI registry eligible or ARMRIT program required; MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI Scanners and ensures high proficiency per department protocols.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort during procedures and documents results.
• Communicates with Radiologists regarding discrepancies or findings.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and department policies.
