Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in New Jersey seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations according to department procedures, under supervision.

You will ensure patient safety, communicate with radiologists, and maintain image quality for PACS transmission. Requirements include ARRT-recognized education or registry eligibility, advanced MRI registry within 1 year of hire, and 2+ years of MRI experience; current BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized education program or registry eligible or registered.
• Two years MRI staff technologist experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations per department procedures and guidance.
• Communicate radiologist observations and patient history during MRI.
• Ensure proper patient identification and safety before imaging.
• Maintain image quality and verify PACS transmission accuracy.
• Participate in Radiology QA/Performance Improvement programs.
• Educate patients about their examination and consent procedures.
