Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks an MRI technologist to ensure smooth continuity of care for MRI patients. You will communicate findings to radiologists, present relevant history, and maintain RIS/HIS competency while supporting QA initiatives.

Qualification includes ARRT education or ARRT/ARMRIT registration with an advanced MRI registry within a year, and BLS within 3 months of hire. Prior MRI staff experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT/ARMRIT registered or registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Two years of staff technologist experience preferred; MRI technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful technical continuity of care for MRI patients.
• Communicate radiologists' observations from MRI examinations.
• Present patient history to radiologist as documented.
• Maintain competency in venipuncture for contrast administration.
• Ensure accuracy of RIS/HIS modules relevant to job responsibilities.
• Participate in Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement program.
