Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations in accordance with department procedures under the direction of the Section Chief and Manager.

The role requires ARRT recognition or registry eligible, with MRI registry within 1 year, and current BLS certification. Two years of staff technologist experience is preferred; this position involves patient care, image quality, and safety around MRI equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT/ARMRIT registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients following department procedures.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists during MRI.
• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate Medical Record information for PACS.
• Maintain image quality and safety standards around MRI equipment.
• Participate in Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities.
