Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an MRI technologist to ensure continuity of care for patients undergoing MRI studies. The role involves communicating clinical observations to radiologists and presenting patient history as recorded on documentation.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT certification, advanced MRI registry within a year, and experience with RIS/HIS and PACS. BLS must be current within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized education program or ARRT/ARMRIT registered or registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred; 1 year MRI technologist preferred.
• Current BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical continuity of care for MRI patients.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists.
• Present patient history to radiologist.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to downtime procedures.
• Educate patients about their examination.
• Ensure quality of digital images sent to PACS.
