Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an MRI technologist dedicated to patient safety and imaging excellence. You will ensure technical continuity of care, communicate observations to radiologists, and present patient history accurately during MRI examinations.

Responsibilities include venipuncture for contrast, maintaining RIS/HIS/PACS proficiency, supporting QA/PI initiatives, and providing patient education throughout the exam process.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT/ARMRIT registered.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two years experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• 1 year experience as an MRI technologist preferred.
• Current BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful technical continuity of care for MRI patients.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists.
• Present patient history to radiologist using appropriate documentation.
• Assist in data gathering for Quality Assurance/PI programs.
• Adhere to downtime procedures for accurate information flow.
• Educate patients about their examination and safety procedures.
