Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Chelsea outpatient MRI department seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare and position patients, set imaging parameters, acquire images, and ensure quality and safety. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT within one year of hire, and familiarity with IV injections and EMR/PACS systems.

On-site at 80 Everett Avenue with free staff parking and a collaborative team environment. The position offers a 20K sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Medical Imaging certificate/diploma or associate degree required or preferred
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification within one year of hire
• Experience with MRI safety protocols and patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory/outpatient patients
• Prepare patients, position them, and set imaging parameters
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure patient safety
• Educate patients on MRI safety and respond to emergencies
• Coordinate with radiologists, nurses, and staff
