Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view to optimize image quality.
• Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
