Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in California. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast when needed, following protocols and ARRT/MR standards.

You will adjust imaging parameters, guide patients through the process with clear communication, respond to physicians, protect patient data and medications, and uphold professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments on the equipment to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the process by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property, including medications and portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
