Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• Must have BLS certification.
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV to optimize images.
• Guide patients and answer questions about exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and safeguard PHI and assets.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
