Job summary

RadNet in California is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and assist with contrast administration in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT(MR) certification, state license if applicable, BLS, and at least one year of imaging experience. The role emphasizes patient communication, safety, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and FOV to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the procedure with clear communication.
