Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will administer contrast as needed and optimize imaging parameters while guiding patients with clear, compassionate communication.

This role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and a California license where applicable. The candidate should have BLS certification and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Safeguards on-site medications per policy and law.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
