Job summary

Atlantic Health in Union, NJ seeks a skilled MRI technologist to accurately perform MRI imaging protocols, maintain MR safety standards, and manage patient workflow using EPIC and PACS. The role requires ARRT certification, a 24-month AMA-approved radiologic technology program, and 2 years MRI experience (Siemens preferred).

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certified
• BLS/CPR certification
• IV Certification preferred
• 2 years MRI experience, Siemens preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of healing while accurately interpreting and performing MRI imaging protocols
• Practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards
• Demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment, including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting and proper care for all equipment
• Abide by MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality
• Use EPIC and PACS to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation
• Must be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media
