Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to accurately perform MRI protocols and ensure high-quality imaging. The role requires MR imaging proficiency, EPIC/PACS workflow experience, and IV/contrast administration skills.

Candidates should have ARRT certification and a 24-month AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, with 2 years MRI experience preferred. Position based in Union, NJ, working within a non-profit health system renowned for patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• IV Certification preferred.
• 2 years MRI experience, Siemens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of healing while accurately interpreting and performing MRI imaging protocols.
• Practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment, setup, utilization, troubleshooting and care.
• Abide by MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality.
• Use EPIC and PACS to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation.
• Competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media.
