Job summary

Atlantic Health in Union, NJ is seeking an MRI Technologist to accurately perform MRI protocols and promote healing within a leading nonprofit health system. You will interpret images, manage patient flow using EPIC/PACS, and adhere to MR safety standards, with IV contrast administration as needed.

Required ARRT certification and a 24-month AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, plus 2 years MRI experience (Siemens preferred).

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certified.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• IV Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of healing while accurately interpreting and performing MRI imaging protocols.
• Practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards.
• Be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media.
• Abide by MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality.
• Use EPIC and PACS to manage patient workflow and transmit images.
