Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program or MRI program. ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification required within one year.
• Previous MRI experience preferred.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Basic computer skills and effective communication skills are necessary.
• Verifiable hours working on MRI machines, Siemens preferred. Venipuncture training completion within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to handle high pressure atmosphere performing sophisticated exams on advanced equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services following radiology practice standards.
• Perform on-call, holiday, and weekend work as needed.
• Send images to PACS and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer intravenous contrast media with understanding of venipuncture techniques.
• Comply with patient safety protocols for MRI studies.
• Assist physicians with studies using departmental protocols.
• Provide excellent patient care and identify clinical problems.
