Job summary

Capital Health in Pennington, NJ is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services. The role requires ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT within one year, and on-call availability with a focus on accuracy in image handling and patient safety.

Graduate from an accredited Radiology or MRI program; BLS required. Experience with Siemens MRI preferred; venipuncture training within 6 months is expected. Competitive benefits and a full-time schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program or accredited MRI program.
• Must obtain ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification within one year of hire.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider.
• Verifiable hours working on MRI machines; Siemens preferred.
• Venipuncture training required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical MRI services according to radiology standards and act as a resource for radiography students and technologists.
• Be available for on-call (60-minute response), holidays, and weekend work when required.
• Accurately send images to PACS and adhere to QC processes for MRI exams.
• Ensure correct patient/server data entry and prevent mislabeling of images.
• Perform venipuncture and administer IV contrast as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and equipment safety following department protocols.
