Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist in New Jersey. The role performs diagnostic MRI imaging, manages patient prep, contrast administration, and image post-processing, while ensuring safety and protocol compliance.

The candidate will work with physicians to optimize sequences, maintain EMR accuracy, and participate in shifts including holidays/weekends. Minimum ARRt MR/ARMRIT certification required; on-site position with competitive hourly pay starting at $44.30.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certificate/Degree from Radiography or MRI program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite).

Mansioni

• Reviews patient chart/physician order to determine imaging parameters.
• Selects proper imaging coil for study.
• Performs imaging studies using correct techniques and protocols.
• Works with physicians to optimize MRI sequences for highest quality images.
• Administers contrast media per MRI department protocols.
• Verifies pregnancy status where appropriate.
• Obtains MRI consent documentation when appropriate.
• Ensures patient is prepared for procedure.
• Documents data in the EMR/PACS; posts processing results.
• Lifts and handles supplies; may require O2/CPR response as needed.
