Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join Intermountain Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center. You will perform advanced MRI examinations, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality imaging as part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence.

The role offers a 40-hour work week with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and relocation assistance for eligible applicants, plus tuition and education support opportunities.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required.
• ARMRIT certification required.
• ARRT R cross-trained in MRI preferred.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
