Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at Intermountain Medical Center to perform advanced diagnostic imaging within a Level I Trauma Center. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and collaboration with radiologists and clinicians.

You will work with a team across departments, supporting training and professional growth while delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient population and contributing to clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification
• ARRT R cross-trained in MRI
• ARMRIT certification
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
