Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join Intermountain Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, offering exposure to a wide range of MRI procedures and a collaborative team focused on patient care excellence.

You will perform advanced diagnostic imaging, ensure patient comfort and safety, and contribute to ongoing professional development within Intermountain Imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required.
• ARMRIT certification preferred.
• ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS certification required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and information systems with accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and staff to deliver patient care.
• Mentor students and teammates as needed.
