Job summary

Intermountain Health's MRI Technologist role at Intermountain Medical Center offers exposure to a wide range of MRI procedures within a Level I Trauma Center. You'll perform advanced diagnostic imaging, verify patient info, and uphold safety, quality, and patient care standards.

This full-time position includes a rotating schedule, a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, relocation assistance, tuition assistance up to $5,250 per year, and robust benefits as part of Intermountain Imaging's team.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification
• ARMRIT certification
• ARRT R cross‑trained in MRI
• BLS for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
