Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join Intermountain Medical Center, performing advanced diagnostic MRI procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care. You will operate MRI equipment, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver exceptional imaging services.

The role supports a 40-hour work week with rotating shifts, sign-on up to $5,000 for eligible applicants, and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification is required.
• ARMRIT certification is required.
• ARRT R cross-trained in MRI is preferred.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems with accurate documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and staff to deliver patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
