Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an MRI Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging at Intermountain Medical Center. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver safe, high-quality MRI studies and patient care in a Level I Trauma Center environment.

The role emphasizes MRI protocols, patient safety, collaboration with radiologists, and mentoring junior staff within Intermountain Imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification and ARMRIT certification required.
• ARRT R cross-trained in MRI is preferred.
• BLS for healthcare providers and IV competency within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MR examinations.
• Perform MR examinations per protocols, ensuring safety, comfort and quality.
• Operate MR equipment and document patient information accurately.
• Follow safety, infection control and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members.
