Job summary

Mass General Brigham's MRI department in Waltham, MA seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, ensure patient safety, and operate multi-vendor platforms on a 32-hour weekly schedule.

Under supervision, you will prepare patients, select imaging protocols, manage contrast injections, and coordinate with radiologists and nursing staff. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS, with benefits beginning day one.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Medical Imaging required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies using a magnetic resonance imaging system.
• Prepare patients and position for exams per protocol.
• Set imaging parameters and acquire/ process images.
• Manage MRI safety and assist with contrast injections.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff.
